Live Stitch @ Little Knits

Our in-home sock designer, Joanna Ryan (for those of you who call us often, Rebecca’s mom), designed a lovely sock pattern for with Austermann STEP. 

 I was struck by the simple beauty of the “Little Acorn Socks” as well as their softness and generous length.  Joanna knitted this pair as a gift for a girl friend with larger than average feet (I believe the pictured socks were made for a shoe size 9-10), and still the socks go up almost to mid-calf.  In addition, this lovely pattern is topped with a picot edging that makes it extra-soft and feminine.  You can purchase a copy of Little Acorn Socks starting today and the color used for the photographed socks is Vanilla Plum in Chocolate, color #13.

 Also, did you know that we now carry Lantern Moon Sox Stix?  These lovely double pointed needles come in 5” lenght and they are offered in their individual organza baggies.  Each set has 5 needles and come in ebony, rosewood and blonde wood.  Currently we only carry ebony and blonde wood.  You can purchase Sox Stix today and purchases of 3 or more pairs ship free within the US with the ‘sox’ code to be used at checkout.
