Schaefer Laurel Subtly Solid Botanicals
0 Comments Published by Fulay Little May 26th, 2009 in New Stuff (Products).Laurel is a 100% mercerized pima cotton yarn line by Schaefer Yarn with a great construction that promotes long wear and beautiful silky sheen.
Laurel has good pattern support that can be seen at Schaefer Yarn’s website.
This lovely cotton line comes in Schaefer’s multi-color schemes and I just finished photographing and listing the Subtly Solid Botanical color line, which reminds of Seattle in early spring.
I have seen lovely tulips that look like Day Lily
while the Larkspur reminds me of Wisteria in new bloom.
Yucca is literally spring in its first hints of green.
Sedge on the other than reminds of citrine and gold colored crystals, which makes me think that I should be wearing the hank rather than knitting with it.
Then there is a color of which we have only a few skeins that has been discontinued by Schaefer (we think), Florence Nightingale in all its glory. Isn’t she lovely?
Just had to share before I say goodnight.
