Noro Kochoran is up on the Little Knits site at over 50% off! Kochoran is 50% Wool, 30% Angora & 20% Silk, which makes it luxuriously soft and fluffy. It also gets softer and softer with continued wear. Kochoran will shed somewhat, which is common to yarns with angora content, but the softness makes up for the shedding!
Kochoran has almost 3,000 projects on Ravelry, a testament to this beautiful yarn and it’s usefulness. A few that I liked especially are listed below!
The Wabi-Sabi Scarf/Shawl/Throw is a cosy and beautiful wrap designed specially for Kochoran. It is a free pattern that is designed to show off the color changing nature of Noro yarns.
If you’re looking for a gift knit, the Baby Surprise Jacket would look stunning in Kochoran. And just imagine wrapping a baby up in all that angora softness!
I’ve knit Toast a number of times, and think they’d be especially lovely in Kochoran. They could be done with just one skein, and the color changes would really stand out.
Whatever you knit with it, Kochoran is a beautiful yarn, and at Little Knit’s price, it’s hard to pass up!
